FAQ

Have Questions?

The recruitment journey takes hustle, grit, and adaptability to succeed. Understanding how your profile stacks up is step number one.
How do I actually get recruited?

To earn an offer, you have to get noticed and prepare the requisite athletic academic candidacy. Recruitment is simply coach support in the admissions process; it can near-guarantee your entry ("full support") or significantly help ("partial support").

When should I start preparing?

US colleges evaluate your final four years of school and recruitment picks up in your final two years. At Crimson, we work with students at all stages but most start with 2-4 years to go until US college.

Am I good enough to get coach support?

The golden rule when evaluating prospects is: Will this athlete improve the team’s chances of winning at the conference or national level?  Specifics vary by sport, but an assessment covers performance data, academic standing, and the ‘eye test’.

What happens in our free consultation?

A Crimson Advisor will assess your candidacy, outline your best pathway to college and identify key action steps to increase chances. This will include evaluation of your sporting level and suitable target colleges.
